Heather Henderson attended our meeting again this month and assured us that she was ready and looking forward to moving to Atabae later this month. She has gathered more information about Atabae and feels well prepared for assuming management of the FPET education project.

Planning for the transition of the community health centre to local management through linking up with the local government health clinic is proceeding. Discussions have also started about the future use of the FPET funded community health centre building.

Members of the Atabae youth group, OJC, have just completed a workshop on their Strategic Plan for 2013 to 2016. They clearly see education as a core part of their role in the community.
