Nick and Jane Eager only lived in East Timor for a few months but had quite an impact
while there and convinced FPET of the value of supporting volunteers living in Atabae.
Nick and Jane were our first PALMS volunteers who went to live in Atabae early in 2005. Since returning to Australia they have maintained a continuing connection with the Atabae community and FPET.

Before leaving East Timor, Nick Eager visited Aidabeleten to organise for the building of the long awaited new school for the village. The local catechist and his family are pictured here with Nick while they were working out the details for building the school.
