Sharon has had a busy time with preparing to transfer health services to the government clinic by September when Lepa and Carlita will leave to commence their nursing studies in Kupang. Sharon will work with the government clinic staff on delivering and refining the transferred services until her volunteering term finishes in May 2014.

Lepa and Carlita were recently in Kupang to complete the formalities required for acceptance for their study courses and arrange for moving to Kupang.

Discussions are continuing on details but it has been agreed that the government clinic will take over the community centre health services including the school health assessments, post natal home visits, health promotional activities, mobile clinics and support for the mother and child group at the community centre.
